Whether you need a new septic system or your existing system is in need of upgrades or expansion, an assessment of your proposed / existing septic system will need to be carried out. The assessment would include a visual inspection of your current septic system, septic test pit investigations, soil evaluation and grain sieve soil analysis to determine soil percolation rates, seasonal high water table and site conditions.
Investigations of failing septic systems are the most common. By digging a series of test pit excavations into a septic field we can assess the cause of failure, which could include “biomat buildup”, hydraulic overload, broken pipes, and plugged distribution piping.
